Art provides individuals with a way to understand and process some of the damage to the environment and climate injustices occurring in our world. Providing accessible outlets for children and communities on these topics is a key aspect of approaching and creatively working on these challenges. I have designed lesson plans, led after school programs, curated mailable art kits for kids, and facilitated a summer reading program at my local bookstore, all focused on the intersections of art and the environment.
